Professional Recognition
In 1999, Tim was named one of Central Pennsylvania's "Forty Under 40" award winners. This award, presented by the Central Penn Business Journal, recognizes forty of the region's most dynamic business leaders under the age of 40 for their commitment to business growth, professional excellence and their community - people who will shape the future of Central Pennsylvania.
In 1991 and 1992, Tim was selected as an Honored Member of "Who's Who in Leading American Executives." He was named to Fidelity Investments Advisor Council in 1994, 1995 and 1999. In 2008, the Central Penn Business Journal ranked ISI Financial Group among the Top 10 Money Managers in Central Pennsylvania. In recent years, Tim has been quoted several times in the Wall Street Journal. In January 2008, Tim's much-anitcipated book, "The Sleep-Well-at-Night Investor," was published and he hosted book signings at Borders bookstores in Harrisburg and Lancaster. Tim is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and NAPFA (The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors). He holds the designations of PPC (Professional Plan Consultant) and AIF® (Accredited Investment Fiduciary).
Community Involvement
In addition to coaching high school basketball and working with the youth of Lancaster County, Tim is always looking for ways to provide the people in Central Pennsylvania with sound financial guidance. He is a contributing author for several newspapers including the Patriot News and the Central Penn Business Journal. He has appeared on the Blue Ridge Cable television program “Behind the Lines” for a financial information special. He has also been a featured guest on WGBC TV’s “American Visions”– an educational and patriotic interview talk show.
Tim can be heard every Saturday at 1:00 pm on WHP 580 AM providing financial guidance and answering questions from callers on his radio talk show "Financial Freedom."
Tim also speaks frequently at church groups, charitable organizations and social functions, as well as seminars for tax accountants and corporations. He has presented seminars for: Manheim Township Parks and Recreation Department, Susquehanna Valley Chapter of AARP, Golden Agers Retirement Organization, Elizabethtown College Institute for Learning in Retirement and West Shore Recreation & Leisure Services. |
